Day 3

I tried the Two Peas aperture experiment again. This time I used my daughter's little genie lamp toy and placed it on a short platform outside. It was sunny and about noon. The results:


50mm f/1.8 ~ 1/4000 ~ ISO 100


50mm f/8 ~ 1/4000 ~ ISO 400


50mm f/22 ~ 1/4000 ~ ISO1600

I don't know why this didn't work. In "aperture priority" mode, I choose the aperture and the camera chooses the shutter speed. So why didn't it do this? All the shutter speeds are the same and I had to go up on the ISO despite it being a bright sunny day. Hmmm....
